ODYSSEY® Battery Extends Partnership with Intact GP in Two-Year Deal

ODYSSEY® Battery has renewed its partnership with Intact GP in a new two-year sponsorship deal, which will see the high performance battery brand continue to support the team’s Moto3 World Championship campaign until the end of 2027. The renewed agreement marks the fourth consecutive year of collaboration between ODYSSEY® Battery and Intact GP.

The announcement follows an impressive season opener for Intact GP, with 20-year-old Spanish rider, David Almansa, securing a dramatic victory at the Thai Grand Prix (February 27–March 1). Both Almansa and teammate David Muñoz are expected to return to action later this month as the team eyes further success at the next round, which takes place at the Circuito de Jerez in southern Spain on April 26.

Christopher Thomas, Vice President of Global Marketing & Commercial Operations at EnerSys, manufacturer of ODYSSEY® batteries, said: “Motorsport is a powerful platform to showcase the ODYSSEY® Battery brand to fans and industry professionals worldwide. We’re excited to see the season unfold and proud to continue our partnership with a team that shares our focus on performance, precision and engineering excellence.”

Stefan Keckeisen, Intact GP Team Shareholder, said: “It’s fantastic to have continued support from ODYSSEY® Battery. This partnership is invaluable as we push for championship success throughout the 2026 season and beyond.”

The 22-round Moto3 calendar includes the French Grand Prix at Le Mans (May 10), the Italian Grand Prix at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello (May 31), the German Grand Prix at Sachsenring (July 12) and the British Grand Prix at Silverstone (August 9). The season concludes at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia on November 29.

Engineered to deliver exceptional starting power, deep cycle capability and long service life, ODYSSEY® batteries are trusted in automotive, marine, powersports and heavy duty applications worldwide. The continued partnership with Intact GP strengthens the brand’s association with top level motorsport.
